Erwartung

There is a rare chance to hear Arnold Schoenberg's monodrama Erwartung (Expectation) next Monday afternoon 16 January at 2pm in the City Hall, Glasgow. The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Matthias Pintscher with soprano Jeanne-Michèle Charbonnet. Stephen Johnson will introduce and analyse the work before the complete performance, which will be broadcast on Radio 3 at some future date.
