Those of you who have been following development of our website will see we have recently added entries for ‘Friends of Scottish Opera’ events.

We have also been able to enter dates for St Andrews Opera and Scottish Youth Opera; cinema broadcasts of Glyndebourne and Royal Opera House productions, and have started to build up entries for the main venues. At every turn, the Opera Scotland team is convinced that the instinct that led us to start the website is correct – that there is more opera and opera-related activity in Scotland now than for some time.

One of our aims was to inform potential audiences of the performances on offer. We have now listed many, but there is still much to do. However we are surely close to the point where we can reach out more actively to audiences.
