Italian baritone.
'Vezzosi studied the art of singing at the famous Parma Conservatorio di Musica. In Parma he also made his debut, singing “Rigoletto” for a public of 5,000 (reputed to be the most difficult audience in Italy) and obtaining such an ovation that he had to take two encores of the aria “Pari siamo.” Then followed immediate engagements in the famous opera houses of Venice, Trieste, Florence, and at the San Carlo, Naples. He sang "I Pagliacci” with Beniamino Gigli at the Congresshaus of Zurich, and Gigli, in token of his admiration, gave him his portrait in a golden frame.
Ernest Vezzosi's first appearance in England will be in his successful part, the title role in "Rigoletto." '
