Catriona Hewitson Suggest updates

Scottish soprano.

Catriona Hewitson studied at the City of Edinburgh Music School and in Manchester at RNCM, then with ENO Opera Works.  She is a graduate of the Royal  College of Music Opera Studio, studying with Professor Janis Kelly, and won the 2018 Kathleen Ferrier Loveday Song Prize.  She is a Samling Artist, and is also a Scottish Opera Emerging Artist 2020/22.

Appearances with Scottish Opera include Despina, Adina, Nannetta, Casilda The Gondoliers, Princess Nekaya Utopia Limited, Voice 1 Diary of One Who Disappeared.

Operatic performances elsewhere include: Royal College of Music (Susanna,  Eduige Robinson Crusoe, Tytania); Grange Festival (Cis Albert Herring); Glyndebourne Tour (Donna Rinaldo).
