Director and librettist.
Daisy Evans was nominated for Best Young Director at the International Opera Awards 2016, is the recipient of the Sky Arts Futures Fund and a winner of Best Opera Production at tge OffWestEnd Awards. She is the Artistic Director of Silent Opera.
As a librettist she has prepared English performing versions of The Cunning Little Vixen (VIXEN), Don Giovanni (Giovanni), L'Orfeo and La bohème.
Recent opera direction credits include Silent Opera/ENO (VIXEN, also at Beijing Music Festival); Academy of Ancient Music (King Arthur), Bury Court Opera (Così fan tutte).
Theatre work includes the King's Players (Orpheus and Eurydice, Our Country's Good); Waistcoat Theatre (The Bacchae, The Tempest).
