Lauren Gage Suggest updates

Mezzo-soprano.

Lauren is a third-year philosophy and mathematics undergraduate student and is delighted to be taking part for the first time in an opera. Having previously held choral scholarships and currently holding a vocal scholarship, Lauren has received lessons from Megan Read for three years, an experience which has encouraged a great depth of musical growth and development. As the Musical Director of the university acapella group, the Alleycats, Lauren has also explored contemporary genres and learned a great deal about working musically with others. The experience of playing Arsemenes in the Byre Opera Company’s production of Xerxes has been a refreshing and inspiring one; Lauren will continue to take every opportunity to explore new avenues of music.
