Nigerian-American soprano.
Francesca Chiejina studied at the University of Michican then in London at the Guildhall, where she won the English Song and Aria prizes. In 2017 she was a Kathleen Ferrier Prize finalist.
She is a graduate of the Jette Parker scheme at Covent Garden, where her roles included several by Verdi (Lady in Waiting Macbeth, Countess Ceprano Rigoletto, Ines Il trovatore, Voice from Heaven Don Carlos).
She has sung with English Touring Opera (Melissa Amadigi; Mimì) and at the Longborough Festival.
