A member of the Berliner Ensemble.

Kathrin Wehlisch train in Leipzig, at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.  From 2000-05 she was a member of the acting ensemble at Theater Basel.  She then joined the Deutsches Theaer Berlin (2005-09), and has continued to appear there regularly as a freelance.  She also worked at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz Berlin and the Schauspiel Cologne.  In 2013 she joined the company at Hamburg (Deutsches Schauspielhaus).  She has been a mber of the Berliner Ensemble since the 2017-18 season.
