Ryan Capozzo Suggest updates

American tenor.

Ryan Capozzo is a graduate of the Yale School of Music, with a Master of Musical Arts degree, and was awarded the Phyllis Curtin Career Entry Prize.  He studied there under Richard Cross, Gerald Martin Moore, J J Penna and Howard Watkins. He spent time with the Lyric Opera of Chicago's Ryan Opera Centre, when his roles with the Lyric Opera included Steeuuermann Der fliegende Holländer and Remendado Carmen. He also covered Števa Jenůfa and Howie Albert Champion.

He was awarded second place in the Southeast Region of the 2022 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, making his company debut as Voice of a Young Man Die Frau ohne Schatten.
