Australian soprano.
Jenifer Eddy's career as a coloratura soprano began in Sydney with the Elizabethan Opera Trust in the mid 1950s. She moved to London around 1960, spending the next decade with Sadler's Wells and Covent Garden. She had an excellent reputation for roles such as Blonde, Despina, Rosina and Zerbinetta.
She occasionally performed elsewhere, including Scottish Opera and the Bath Festival. She retired from singing in her mid-30s, and returned to Australia. Her later career was as a successful teacher, agent and manager.
