English soprano.

Helen Williams trained at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, then with Gerald Martin Moore.

Her debut was at Glyndebourne as Sashka in The Electrification of the Soviet Union (Nigel Osborne). At the Barber Institute in Birmingham she appeared as Musica and and Euridice in Monteverdi's Orfeo. With ENO she has appeared as Amor (Orpheus and Euridice), Dalinda (Ariodante), and Solo Soprano (Orfeo). Her debut at Covent Garden was as Yvette in La Rondine, followed by Second Niece (Peter Grimes), a role she also sang at the St Endelliom Festival in Cornwall. With Opera Zuid she appeared in Il Mondo della Luna (Haydn). With the Opera Theatre Company she sang the title role in Rodelinda.

Her Scottish Opera debut was as Naiad in Ariadne auf Naxos, returning for First Lady (The Magic Flute) andd a Flower Maiden (Parsifal).
