Joanna Campion Suggest updates

Mezzo-soprano.

Joanna Campion studied in London, at the Guildhall School of Music and the National Opera Studio, sponsored by Peter Stuyvesant.

Early operatic appearances included British Youth Opera (Mrs Page The Merry Wives of Windsor, Hermia A Midsummer Night's Dream, Carmen); Glyndebourne (Baba The Rake's Progress, Flora Bervoix); Welsh National (Cinderella, Hansel, Feodor Boris Godunov); Engflish Touring Opera (Rosina) and Scottish Opera (Annina Der Rosenkavalier).

Abroad she appeared at the Festivals in Wexford (Sabina in La fiamma) and Spoleto (Mother Amahl and the Night Visitors). She also sang with the Singapore Lyric Theatre (Hermia).
