Born Liverpool, 9 May 1940.

Died Folkestone, 18 June 2021.

English tenor.

Ramon Remedios was the younger brother of the tenor Alberto Remedios.  He studied in London at the Guildhall.

British companies he appeared with included Scottish Opera (Froh Das Rheingold);  Welsh National Opera (Grigory Boris Godunov),  English National Opera (Alfredo, Paris La belle Hélène),  New Sadler's Wells Opera (Countess Maritza).  He also sang at the Royal Opera.  Other roles included David, Don José, Lensky and Rodolfo.

He sang in The Phantom of the Opera (Lloyd Webber) both in London and the Netherlands.

Recordings include Countess Maritza.
