Australian soprano.
Rhonda Bruce studied in Australia as a mezzo-soprano. In 1960 she began to train in New York at the Juilliard School of Music, graduating in 1963 as a soprano. She spent several years singing in Britain, firstly at the Glyndebourne Festival and then touring with the Arts Council's Opera For All group as Violetta and Countess Almaviva. She went on to appear at the Royal Opera House, with Sadler's Wells Opera and Scottish Opera.
