English baritone.
Giles Davies studied in London at the Purcell School of Music then on a scholarship with Norman Bailey at the Royal College of Music.
Early in his career he worked frequently with Scottish Opera (Figaro Barber of Seville, Schaunard, Dr Kolenatý Makropulos Case, Lackey Ariadne auf Naxos, Cascada The Merry Widow).
He has worked with Carl Rosa touring the UK and America (Pish-Tush The Mikado). For Opéra du Rhin, Strasbourg he appeared in Britten's Church Parables (Ferryman Curlew River, Father Prodigal Son, Ananias Burning Fiery Furnace).

For Music Theatre Wales hecreated Edgar Drake The Piano Tuner (Nigel Osborne).
He has recorded for the BBC, Capriol Films, Naxos, Chandos and Divine Art Records, and on numerous film soundtracks.
