English soprano.

Rebecca Bottone studied on the Opera course at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

She has worked with most of the British opera companies. These include English Touring Opera (Tytania), Scottish Opera (Sandman & Dew Fairy, Blonde, Carolina The Secret Marriage, Clorinda); Garsington Festival (Tytania); Buxton Festival (Dalila Samson); ENO (Amanda Le Grand Macabre); Classical Opera (Semira Artxerses); Royal Opera (Maid Powder Her Face, First Niece Peter Grimes)

New roles she created are: First Innocent The Minotaur (Birtwistle, ROH); Cricket & Parrot The Adventures of Pinocchio (Dove, Opera North); Maid Prima Donna (Wainwright, Manchester International Festival).

Appearances abroad include the Aix-en-Provence Festival (Blonde) and Théâtre du Chatelet, Paris (Anne Egermann A Little Night Music, Johanna Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, Carousel).
