American soprano.

 

She was a prizewinner in Austria at the Meistersinger Competition in Graz, before joining the Young Artist training programme in Seattle. Her roles in Seattle included Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier as well as Woglinde and Woodbird in the famous Seattle Ring cycles. She has also appeared there as Helen in Mourning Becomes Electra by Marvin David Levy. She has sung with other American opera companies, including Sarasota, Florida, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her concert work in the USA includes appearances with the Seattle and Palm Beach Symphonies and with the Salem Philharmonic.

Operatic work in Europe includes Zerbinetta and First Niece in Peter Grimes at Geneva. With Vlaamse Opera she has sung Blonde as well as Azema. She has also worked with Opera North and in Tel Aviv.
