Jakob Holtze Johansen.

Danish tenor.

Jakob Holtze studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music before going on to the Royal Scottish Academy of Music.  He then studied at the Alexander Gibson Opera School in the RCS, graduating M Mus in 2012.

He has covered and performed a number of roles, including the Witch in Hansel and Gretel, Macbeth in Okavango Macbeth, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and First Armed Man in Die Zauberflöte.  In May 2012, he appeared in the Edinburgh Lyceum Theatre as Don José in Carmen.

In addition to opera he has a wide repertoire of concert, oratorio and recital works and was a soloist at the 2010 Edinburgh Military Tattoo. He also returns regularly to sing in Denmark.
