Nadine Livingston studied with Barbara Robothamat the Royal Northern College of Music. From 2006 to 2008 study awards included Samling Foundation scholarship; Joyce and Michael Kennedy Prize for singing of Strauss; Eva Turner Award; Frederic Cox Award; Clonter Opera Prize, and Sybil Tutton Award.
At the RNCM her operatic roles included Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera), Tatyana, Susanna and Rosalinde. On joining Scottish Opera’s Emerging Artists scheme she appeared in concert with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera. She then sang the title role in Kátya Kabanová (2009) and Musetta (2010). This was followed by Gilda in a new production of Rigoletto and Anna in Weill's Seven Deadly Sins (2011, repeated in 2013). She made her first appearance with the Royal Opera in 2012 as Woglinde in the Ring.
She has appeared in concert twice with the Macao Orchestra, and with the National Youth String Orchestra of Scotland and the Hallé Orchestra. She has sung Britten’s Les illuminations with the RNCM String Orchestra and the Goldberg Ensemble.
