Christopher Hassall produced the libretti for four operas - Troilus and Cressida (Walton), Tobias and the Angel (Bliss), Song of Simeon (Arnold) and Anna Kraus (Reizenstein). For Sadler's Wells Opera he made translations of two Viennese operettas, The Merry Widow and Die Fledermaus.
