Italian tenor.

Studied at the Conservatorio in Trieste. Winner of the As.Li.Co. Competition in Milan and the 2002 San Remo Musica Classica.

His solo career began with concerts of sacred music, including the first performance of Verdi's Messa Solenne (Cremona 2001). Operatic appearances have taken him to many of the Italian houses. At La Scala Milan he has appeared in Le nozze di Figaro, Madama Butterfly and Vita, at La Fenice, Venice in Lucia di Lammermoor and Maometto II, and at the Rome Opera in Le campanule, Wozzeck, and Mosè in Egitto. Other work in Italy has included Parma (L' elisir d' amore), Trieste (Pagliacci, Rita), Novara (Il turco in Italia, Adriana Lecouvreur), Lecce (La notte di un nevrastenico, La cenerentola), Atri (Rigoletto), Salerno (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Messina (Il cappello di paglia di Firenze).

Appearances outside Italy have included Athens (L'italiana in Algeri), Dublin (Così fan tutte) and Saõ Paulo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi).

He made his British debut with Scottish Opera as Fenton, returning for Alfredo.
