Silvana Dussmann studied in Vienna with Rita Streich and Gerhard Kahry. She sings major roles with many of the major opera companies in Germany and Austria. In Frankfurt she has sung the Empress, Amelia (Un ballo in maschera) and Vitellia. She has appeared as Norma in Vienna, Munich and Berlin, as well as Chrysothemis in Vienna, Munich and Hamburg. Other parts include the Empress in Brussels, Rosalinde in Munich, Donna Anna in Essen and Marietta (Die tote Stadt) in Berlin.
