Tenor and director.

Charles Leverton spent several seasons with the Carl Rosa company, singing character tenor roles. When Georgina Burns and Leslie Crotty left to set up their own company, he went with them, as Stage Manager, responsible for the acting and performance standards from day to day. He was also credited with direction of the production of The Bohemian Girl they introduced on Saturday evenings. Whether he continued to sing Florestein on these occasions is yet to be established.
