Russian (Moldovan) soprano.

Lyudmila Sirenko trained at the Conservatoire in Chiisinau (which the programme note of 1986 spells phonetically, as Kishinyov). Her repertoire included leading roles in a range of operas including Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, The Queen of Spades and Iolanta. She toured in Italy, East Germany and Bulgaria.
