Steven Faughey trained in Glasgow at the RSAMD and has sung with Scottish Opera's chorus since 1990. Solo roles include Mozart (Second Priest Magic Flute) ; Beethoven (Second Prisoner Fidelio); Rossini (Ambrogio Barber of Seville); Puccini (Gaoler Tosca, Official Registrar Madama Butterfly, Jake Wallace Fanciulla del West) and Strauss (Footman & Waiter Der Rosenkavalier).
He has worked extensively with Scottish Opera's Education Department and has appeared in many Sounds of Singing concerts. He is a founder member of Opera Alba and the Antonine Trio.
