Susannah Wapshott Suggest updates

Susannah Wapshott has been a member of the Music Staff at Scottish Opera since 2008. She is from Shropshire and read Music at Manchester University before studying at postgraduate level at the Royal Northern College of Music and gaining a Distinction in Piano Accompaniment. In 2007, after training with British Youth Opera, she moved to Glasgow to take up a scholarship at the Alexander Gibson Opera School (RSAMD) and started working with Scottish Opera thereafter with a Musicians Benevolent Fund Repetiteur Fellowship.

She has also worked at Opera North and more recently at Polish National Opera in Warsaw, and regularly coaches and accompanies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She will be Chorus Master and Assistant Conductor on Orfeo ed Euridice with Scottish Opera in March 2015.
