South Korean, later British, soprano.

Rosa Lee Thomas was born in Seoul, and grew up in Los Angeles. She studied music at the California State University, and began her career in Los Angeles, where her repertoire ranged through Mozart (Susanna), Donizetti (Adina), Verdi (Gilda), Gounod (Juliette), Massenet (Manon). and Puccini (Mimì).

Her first appearance in the UK in 2000 was in Madama Butterfly at the Royal Albert Hall, a part she repeated in 2003 for her debut at the Odessa Opera House. Her tours of the UK with Opera International have since included performances as Violetta, Liù, Butterfly and Micaëla.

She appears in Alan Parker's film The Life of David Gale, playing Turandot.
