Ukrainian tenor.
Ruslan Zinevych trained at the Odesa State Conservatory, under Nikolai Ogrenich. He joined the Ukrainian National Opera of Odesa as a soloist in 1994 and is also a frequent guest soloist. with the Dnipro Opera
He won international singing competitions in the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. He has sung at several of the smaller opera houses in Italy, including Chieti, Latina, Garda and Mantua. He also sang with Luciano Pavarotti at a concert in Sassuolo.
Foreign tours include appearances in Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland and Japan. He has toured the United Kingdom several times with the Ellen Kent organisation.
His extensive repertoire includes roles by Donizetti (Edgardo); Verdi (Duke of Mantua, Alfredo); Tchaikovsky (Lensky); Rimsky-Korsakov (Mozart in Mozart and Salieri); Puccini (Rodolfo, Cavaradossi, Pinkerton); J Strauss (Eisenstein) and Bizet (Don José).
