Mr J A Kidd.

Scottish baritone.

J Addison Kidd was a notable amateur baritone who was prominent in musical circles in Dundee. On one occasion, when the J W Turner company toured Scotland in 1887, the company baritone, John Ridding was ill for several days. Even in that era, it must have been very unusual for an amateur to step in and rescue a performance in a role, Count Arnheim, with which he was familiar.

Roles in Scotland
