Yvonne Fuller studied with the great Russian soprano Oda Slobodskaya and won the John Christie Award at Glyndebourne in 1970. She spent several seasons at Glyndebourne, and with the touring company her repertoire included Charlotte in Werther (1970) and Second Lady in The Magic Flute (1971). She appeared with Scottish Opera as Donna Elvira and with Welsh National as Liù. Other roles included Gerda in Fennimore and Gerda at the 1970 Camden Festival.
