English composer and conductor.
Alfred Cellier was a regular collaboration with the D'Oyly Carte organisation. He provided music for some curtain-raisers, such as In the Sulks. Later he had a great success in his own right, as the composer of Dorothy.
His brother François also worked as a composer, rehearser and conductor for D'Oyly Carte.
