Ian McBain Suggest updates

Scottish tenor.

Ian McBain trained initially in Glasgow at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating in 2014. He then completed his studies on the Master of Music course.

At the Conservatoire, he appeared in student productions of The Merry Wives of Windsor and La rondine, and worked with several Scottish companies, including Edinburgh Studio Opera (The Rake's Progress, Okavango Macbeth). At the Edinburgh Fringe (2015) he sang with Magnetic Opera (Leicester Maria Stuarda), rejoining them for Rodolfo in 2016.  Appearances with regional Scottish companies include Fife Opera (Don José, Faust, Lensky, Turiddu) and Tayside Opera (Edgardo).
