South Korean soprano.
Hye-Youn Lee studied in Strasbourg and Paris (at the Atelier Lyrique). She also trained with Renate Krahmer and Júlia Várady in Berlin and with Robert Dean in London.
She has worked in the UK at Holland Park Opera (Marie La fille du régiment, Musetta La bohème, Lisette La rondine); Grange Park Opera (Blanche Dialogues des Carmélites, Elettra Idomeneo, Cio-Cio-San).
Appearances in France include Strasbourg Opéra National du Rhin (Title role Lucia di Lammermoor, Oscar Un ballo in maschera, 1st Flowermaiden Parsifal); Opéra Basse Normandie (Silvia in Haydn's L'isola disabitata); Opéra national de Paris (1st Esquire Parsifal). She has also appeared as Lisette in Helsinki.
