Hanna Hipp was a Jette Parker trainee at Covent Garden.
Appearances with Scottish Opera include Mozart (Cherubino), Mascagni (Beppe L'amico Fritz, title role Zanetto); Janáček (Varvara Kátya Kabanová). She also sang in concert in The Strauss Collection (extracts from Ariadne auf Naxos and Der Rosenkavalier).
At the Edinburgh International Festival she sang the Page in Salome.

She also has an extensive concert repertoire, singing with several British orchestras, including the BBC SO, Philharmonia, Bournemouth SO, LPO, RPO and LSO. She has also worked with orchestras in Oslo, Oulu, Paris, Hamburg and Vienna.
Recordings include Berlioz (Anna Les Troyens). The Glyndebourne Traviata has appeared on DVD. Her first recital recording, with pianist Emma Abbate, is of songs by Ildebrando Pizzetti.
