Thomas Faulkner studied at Cambridge University and the Royal Academy of Music.
Operatic engagements include: Pastore IV/Spirito II Orfeo (Bayerische Staatsoper Munich); Dulcamara L'elisir d'amore, Sarastro The Magic Flute, Messenius Cristina, regina di Svezia by Foroni (Wexford Festival Opera); Ramfls Aida (Kentish Opera); Death The Emperor of Atlantis by Ullman, Commendatore Don Giovanni (southern France); Dr Bartolo Le nozze di Figaro (British Youth Opera): 2nd Armed Man The Magic Flute (Garsington Opera); Superintendent Budd Albert Herring (Royal Academy Opera); Don Pantaleone Die Drei Pintos by Weber (UCOpera); Sarastro in Kit Hesketh-Harvey's version of The Magic Flute.

As a concert soloist his repertoire ranges from early baroque German motets to Puccini and Britten. He has sung at the Bregenz and Spitalfields festivals, St John's Smith Square, Queen Elizabeth Hall and on BBC radio. He was a member of the Countess of Munster recital scheme.
