Anthony Flaum originally worked in finance and rnarketing. Following studies at the Royal Academy of Music. where he graduated with distinction in Musical Theatre, he attended the National Opera Studio in 2012/13. There he was awarded the Nicholas John Fellowship. He continued his studies with Ryland Davies.

Operatic engagements include Northern Ireland Opera (Nemorino), Scottish Opera (Macduff); Grange Park (Lensky, Tchekalinsky The Queen of Spades, Motel Fiddler on the Roof); Opera della Luna (Raoul de Gardefeu La vie Parisienne); OperaUpClose (Rodolfo La bohème Opera - Olivier Award-winning productlon, Don Ottavio, Don José); Pimlico Opera (Jean Valjean Les miserables) and Opera Project (Henrik A Little Night Music).
