Robert Duncan grew up in Aberdeenshire, and studied at the Royal College of Music - piano with Yonty Solomon and organ with Nick Danby. Robert's first love was accompaniment and he won the RCM accompanist's prize in 1981. After teaching music in Kent for ten years, he became a church pastor, and is now the pastor of Oasis Church in Perth. He also teaches piano pupils and became the accompanist for Tayside Opera in 2012. He gives regular recitals with singers and with his wife, Kim, an oboist He also performs with violinisit Alan John from the RSNO.
