Died Manchester, 25 February 1875.
American bass.
Giulio Perkins toured extensively with Mapleson's Italian Opera Company. He was taken ill, apparently with rheumatism, while on tour, and the company were obliged to leave him behind. He died a few days later at the Queen's Hotel.
He was the husband of the company's leading soprano, Marie Roze, for around the final year of his life.
