Contralto.

Bertha Cooke is known to have toured with the short-lived Robert Cunningham company.  This was established for a few months when the Carl Rosa company was in financial difficulties.  Cunningham himself and several other principals worked extensively with Carl Rosa.  Whether this applies to Bertha Cooke is to be confirmed.
