Contralto.

Cecilia Staunton has, as yet, only been found touring to Scotland as principal mezzo with the Robert Cunningham company.  However, as most of the leading performers in that group were waiting for the Carl Rosa to sort out its finances, it seems likely that she was also a Carl Rosa artist.
