Justine Griffiths Suggest updates

Contralto.

Justine Griffiths spent several seasons with BNOC (at least 1925-28).  She sang several short solo roles while, presumably, based in the chorus.  When BNOC failed in 1928, she was one of many in the company who transferred to the new Covent Garden Opera.

In 1927 two early complete opera recordings, Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci, were made by the Columbia company using BNOC forces.  Justine Griffiths can be heard as Mamma Lucia in Cavalleria.
