Scottish soprano.

Amy Strachan is a music graduate of Edinburgh University, while also studying singing with Rosemary Nairne and Patricia MacMahon. She then studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music and in Glasgow at the Alexander Gibson Opera School under the tutelage of Wilma MacDougall.

Roles with Edinburgh Studio Opera include Iris (Semele), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus) and Pamina, She has also appeared in a number of concert solos including Messiah and the Mendelssohn Symphony no2 Hymn of Praise.
