Moldovan soprano.

Galina Bernaz trained at the Music Academy in Chisinau. She has toured in Spain, Italy, Germany and Switzerland, and began touring the UK for Ellen Kent in 2002.

Early roles with the Chisinau National Opera included Clotilde in Norma, the Priestess in Aïda and both Mercédès and Micaëla in Carmen. Her repertoire quickly developed to take on major parts by Puccini (Tosca, Cio-Cio-San, Turandot) and Verdi (Abigaille, Aïda) as well as Nedda (Pagliacci) and Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus).
