Scottish bass.
James Corrigan came to singing late but it swiftly became a passion. Following completion of a Law Degree at the University of Aberdeen, he accepted a place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has just recently graduated the BMus course under the tutelage of George Gordon.
His opera roles include: Escamillo Carmen (Fife Opera); Slook La Cambiale di Matrimonio (Raucous Rossini); Second Armed Man and Papageno (Cover) Magic Flute (Woodhouse Opera Festival; Second Lumberjack and John Shears (Cover) Paul Bunyan (British Youth Opera); Comissioner La traviata (Dorset Opera); Nym Sir John in Love; Herr Fluth (Cover) Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor and Quince (Cover) A Midsummer Night's Dream (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland); Figaro La Nozze di Figaro (Aberdeen University Opera Society); Strephon Iolanthe (Haddo House Choral and Operatic Society); Ko-Ko The Mikado, Robin Oakapple Ruddigore and Arac Princess Ida (Aberdeen University Gilbert and Sullivan Society).
A keen choral singer James has taken part in many choral concerts as both soloist and chorister and is currently a choral scholar for Paisley Abbey Choir.
