Vasyl Navrotsky Suggest updates

Ukrainian bass.

Vasyl Navrotsky studied at the Odessa Academy of Music, graduating in 1972. He won the Glinka All-Union Singing Competition 1971.

From 1997 t to 2000 he was a soloist  at the opera house in Stuttgart. His wide repertoire has included Mozart (Don Giovanni, Leporello), Verdi (Ramfis), Gounod (Méphistophélès), Musorgsky (Boris Godunov) and Gershwin (Porgy).

Roles he sang on tour with Ellen Kent and Opera International include Rossini (Don Basilio), Verdi (Monterone, Marquis d'Obigny) and Puccini (Bonze).

He is  former Director of the Ukrainian National Opera of Odessa and was appointed a Merited Artist of the Ukraine. He has been a Professor at the Odessa Academy of Music since 1991.
