Moldovan tenor.

Igor Macarenco trained in Chisinau at the Music Academy and joined the Chisinau National Opera on graduation.

At first he sang small roles such as Don Curzio in The Marriage of Figaro. His repertoire includes roles by Verdi (Ismaele, Manrico), Puccini (Cavaradossi), Bizet (Don Jose), Leoncavallo (Canio) and Mascagni (Turiddu).
