Moldovan director.

Boris Focsa trained first as an actor, then as a director, at the Arts University in Chisinau, and acting at the Eminescu National Theatre. He trained in arts administration in the USA, becoming head of the Performing Arts Department at the Arts University. He has worked at the Moldovan Ministry of Culture as a Music and Drama specialist. In 1998 he was appointed as Director of the Luceafarul Theatre in Chisinau.

Theatre productions he has directed include: at the Chekhov Theatre, Chisinau The Princess and the Swineherd, Orchestra (Anouilh); at the Eminescu National Theatre Herb of Desire (Rodari); and at the Luceafarul Theatre Inteleptul (Ostrovsky), Smiles of a Summer Night, Lady Windermere's Fan, Masquerade (Lermontov), and Babaika Superstar (Makarius).
