Mezzo-soprano.
Lynn Bellamy is studying in Glasgow at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under Margaret Izatt. She has participated in masterclasses given by Susan Graham and Malcolm Martineau, Rachel Nicholls, Patricia MacMahon and Lisa Milne.
During her time at the RCS she has appeared in a range of operatic roles, including Handel (Narciso Agrippina); J Strauss (Orlofsky Die Fledermaus); Martin (La Mère Le vin herbé); Stravinsky (Neighbour Mavra); Poulenc (Second Lady Les Mamelles de Tirésias); Milhaud (Soeur Aînée Les Malheurs d'Orphée) and Britten (Kate Julian Owen Wingrave). With Opera Bohemia she sang Filipyevna in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. Her first appearance at the Edinburgh International Festival was in the chorus for a concert performance of The Rake's Progress under Sir Andrew Davis.
