David Horton trained in Manchester at the RNCM, graduating in 2010 with a degree in Vocal and Opera Studies. He then spent a year in Sydney, studying under Dr Rowena Cowley. While in Australia he took part in a master class with Dame Lauris Elms. In Britain he has participated in master classes with Roderick Williams, Anne le Bozec and Lisa Milne. He is now studying for his Masters at the RCS in Glasgow.
Operatic roles at RNCM include Falke (Die Fledermaus), Maximilian (Candide) and the Clock (L'enfant et les Sortilèges). He has also sung Dandini (La cenerentola) with Jackdaws Opera and Ben Budge (The Beggar's Opera) with the European Opera Centre.
