Amy Sissons appears to have spent her career as a chorister able to perform a number of short solo roles, with Third Lady in The Magic Flute perhaps being one of the most prominent.  She started her solo career with the Denhof company before the Great War.  It is clear that she was a reliable artist, as she was employed successively by the Beecham, BNOC and Covent Garden organisations.
